Again! I have ended up with a 120% full belly after home-dinner with parents. This feeling is a bit familiar to the last time at Porterhouse Central, where we were treated soooooo well by their signature weekend brunch. It has been so long time I haven’t joined buffet table (at least 3-4 years) but I do admit, I had switched my hobby to weekend brunch. Not for the food normally, but for the free flow champagne, the sunshine (sometimes, even the breeze outdoor) and the wonderful hours that I can spend with my closet friends in Hong Kong! Who doesn’t love this quality time before another busy week circle?

Thanks to LKF Group, I’ve recently visited their restaurant at California Tower – Porterhouse. A restaurant tells about classy and chic once we step in. My favourite of Porterhouse is the open kitchen, the matching spacious dining area and all big window walls to maximum the natural sun light even indoor.

再一次,在家里被爸妈喂到120分饱,这似曾相似的饱感倒是让我想起之前在香港Porterhouse的一个周末早午餐。自助餐形式的饮食方式我也是34年没碰的了,羊毛出在羊身上,近几年特别好周末早午餐这口!一周忙碌后,谁不想在太阳大好的时光里约上小伙伴慢慢打发一天里最好的那几个小时呢,更何况是有美食和无限畅影的香槟傍身!

感谢兰桂坊集团的邀请和安排,之前去了一次California Tower上的Porterhouse。一走进餐厅,就是被慢慢的经典老牌范儿洗礼,最欣赏的就是她们家的开放式厨房设计、宽敞通亮的餐厅内部和大面积的落地窗,就算是坐在室内用餐,也犹如置身天台一般,暖暖的阳光直射进来。

Since we stepped in, I cannot to stop to move my eyes from their long beautiful buffet table from mixed salads, vegetable dishes and hot dishes (really contain quality ingredients), to the most exciting seafood bar, and then coming to the unique honey comb hanger as well as all the colourful sweets. My battles with the food happens on seafood bar this time, mainly fight with huge lobster and oyster, while I did save a bit power for cold cuts (I love salami) however, when they start to serve the melting cheese (Raclette), I melted with it…

Normally I treat sweets as my second battle in the same day; this time, Porterhouse offers me another weekend brunch main menu where I can choose from classic brunch options like Egg Benedict, Bacon & Pancakes with Maple Syrup, etc… well, I have “no choice” but to be seduced by the Porterhouse version of brunch option, which includes lobster croissant, signature cheese burger and others! The consequence is, I only take very tiny bite of macaroon and honeycomb – both are sooooo nice!

自打我们踏入餐厅那刻,双眼便没能从满满的自助餐长桌上挪开(真是失态了),长桌一字排开各种风格各异的沙律和少量热食且用料讲究,中间是最让人瞩目的海鲜吧,然后才是以独特honey comb打头阵的甜品后军。我的战场无疑是在海鲜吧上了,主战生蚝和巨大无比大龙虾半死不活之际还想撩一下我最爱的冷盘(有我的挚爱salami躺在那!),只是半路杀出个现场演示的melting cheese (Raclette),我也是跟着化了呀。。。

身为女生,第二个胃总是有的,甜品是第二场的事儿;这天,Porterhouse出其不意,竟然还有一份正儿八经的早午餐菜单可以点,上面一半是比较传统的早午餐选项,例如:班尼迪蛋烟肉热香饼配枫树糖浆之类,但她们家还特别准备了一些独家特色,例如:网红了一阵子的(限香港地区)龙虾牛角包、招牌汉堡等!我悲惨结局就是,只是淡淡的咬了一口马卡龙蜂窝(果真也做的很不错)!

Forgetting the price is always my problem, and so as this time. For Porterhouse’s weekend brunch, it starts from noon till 3pm, with an elegant environment, perfect for family and big group. Pricing should be around 300HKD for purely semi-buffet while to add their beautiful main course, is just talking about a 60-150HKD on top. Free flow? Of course, it exists and it is also around the bar of 200HKD for champagne option, if my memory is right! I don’t want to over-evaluate their weekend brunch, as I do reserve my personal opinions towards the hot dishes and part of the desserts, comparing to their fellow food companions, it seems a bit less-performed. Anyways, I do appreciate and thank to LKF Group team to have me this wonderful weekend feast!

不记得价钱,总成我的问题,这一次我也只是大致记得Portershouse的周末早午餐从午间12点一直到下午3,就餐环境优雅,也挺适合大家庭或是大伙人。300多港币的样子吧,如果点了早午餐菜单上的主菜也就只是叠加60150港币,实在实惠。Free flow是一定有的,无限畅饮香槟也应该在200港币上下吧(如果我没记错的话)!虽说是与LKF集团合作的早午餐体验,我也不想只说好不点评,印象里比起发挥超凡的海鲜而言,热食和部分甜品还是逊色了点。我还是要感谢周末还要努力工作的集团PR们!

好了,小小的美食报告打完,我也该继续消化去了。。。顺便想想下一回在这里分享什么话题好呢?
