My best memories in Paris

If you are following my blog for a few posts, you probably find my huge passion to fashion. I’m following my favourite top fashion bloggers’ updates about their Fashion Week journeys since few weeks ago, from New York, London, Milano and finally Pairs now. I haven’t been to NY nor London, but about Paris, I do have something to share with you. Here from now, I will have two posts (at least) to talk about what I like in Pairs.

First memorable moment happened right after my “exhausted” exploration in Louvre (Louvre Museum), getting out from the main entrance and walked till the greenland next door, I found this French-style relaxation on a personal square of grassland in Jardin des Tuileries (Tuileries Garden). The grass was still a bit wet and it was not an absolutely “quiet” space, because those pigeons were even busier than the people there. I’ve got my kind of French latte from the museum, and actually the latte was together with the warm almond croissant, however, unfortunately, I was too kind to make my first Europe give-away (to those pigeons). Believe or not! The communication with those pigeons made you imagine it’s a Alice Wonderland and all the animals can talk and will do something! Half an hour to be there was more than enough otherwise I felt either to become the victim of those pigeons or to be turned to a piece of dried meat under the sun.

Hang out around Eiffel Tower was absolutely a half-day thing and the comprehensive journey with what you can see, what you can make effort and what you can eat! I didn’t feel clear like or dislike towards this architecture even it’s talked about a lot by others, until I climbed up with three stops (there are three platform for a break and for a good view), I have a clear feeling in my mind and it’s, for sure, a LIKE. I started my climbing from late afternoon (around 4pm) and got to the top level in maybe 2 hours including some photo-shooting time. The climbing turned out to be an unexpectedly easy and enjoyable job, which extended my views and thoughts by different Paris looks, under different heights, different sunlights and different angles (believe me, I have got thousands of photos there). Why I mentioned “comprehensive” in the beginning? Answer is the “satisfaction” version of crepe (see those ham, cheese and French fries!!!) and the long hours at the foot of Eiffel Tower from sunset to dark night.

Montmartre gave my richest memory in Paris. The short journey started with an unexpected thunderstorm which came in the late afternoon, washed off Moulin Rouge first, then brought the amazing rainbow! Wandering in the after-rain street which leads the way into artisan area in Montmartre, I met a French friend who’s interested to show his city to a tourist. I followed him to the super quiet street where he told me the famous artists and celebrities were living here, right in these most flat-looking white houses (eye and mouth open). We’ve passed Au Lapin Agile where the name came from the artist and the fame was accumulated by the unknown artists at that time. People, nowadays, visit it and try to appreciate the tough life of those artists in the old time. Walk up to the hill, there residents the famous Sacre-Coeur and Saint Pierre de Montmartre, and also another stunning viewpoint to enjoy Pairs look.

Montmartre(蒙马特)是给我最丰富记忆的巴黎景点。

Next post would be something about a quick Paris walk which happened in my last morning there before jumping onto the train towards Barcelona. See you soon guys.

xx
