Fonte & floral mood

It was the last morning in Siena before we headed back to Montefiascone. The summer in Tuscany region in Italy was amazing, especially if you woke up a bit early and went into the old city before the tourist crowd arrived. It supposed to just be a meet up there, while it turned out to be another culture-learning and shooting morning for me (just like my other days in Italy, every second it could be changed into a vivid outdoor class or shooting studio)! Our meeting point is called Fontebranda, which is one of the many in Siena old city. Fonte (I think English writing could be also fountain) is the medieval building which is used to collect and store the rain water in old times. Today, I think its function is still there, but as I see, its beneficiaries probably shrink to those pigeons. While, the crystal-green water under those three Gothic arches was still so stunning, especially it’s merged into the lights and shadows.

To hug the early sun shine and to let my floral mood fly farther and higher, I picked up one of my favourite dresses. It’s a touch of sharp and solid yellow maxi dress with the lovely purple-blue printed flowers. It’s from SHEIKE and I bought it during my Christmas and New Year trip in Sydney (and it’s on sale!!!) The best part of is the double string on the shoulders, the tighten-up shape in the front and the lace-up backless design. It’s so feminine and crops out the best part from neck to shoulder. What a pity that actually the dress was badly broken once time when I took it out from my washing machine, the damage looked almost like it was teared apart by monster. It was fixed by tailor in my neighbor and became what you see now, as a midi dress. I didn’t go for too complicated decoration but just a pair of golden leaves attached to the ears. I got them very long time ago in H&M and love the natural dropping and floating movements they create all the time. Another piece I dig out is the H&M belt-bracelet. A good “weight” to balance the light look of upper body.

Fonte(英文应该可以写成Fountain)是中世纪风格的建筑,在古时候意大利人用它来搜集和储存雨水。
